Is There A Difference Between Life Coaching And Therapy?
By Kimbles
Is There a Difference Between Coaching and Therapy?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions I receive about Life Coaching. Yes there is a difference and by explaining what Coaching IS, I aim to help you understand what it is NOT and how it is different to Therapy.

Coaching Focuses on:

Where you are right now.
Your needs and wants.
Values.
Goals and actions.
Self-potential.
Acknowledgement.
Support.
Accountability.
Moving forward.
Solutions.
Replacement of sabotaging thoughts, patterns and behaviors.
Trust.
Non-judgment.
Insights.
New perspectives.
Inspiration.
Self-actualization.
Results.

In a nutshell Coaching believes you are fully functional and helps and supports you find your solutions in a quick, effective and life-changing way. It focuses on where you right now and find ways to help you move forward. It is a proactive approach that examines your behavior today and challenges you to develop new behavior. Coaching supports you to take charge of your life and make it whatever you want by providing you with tools and strategies to accomplish the desired shifts in thinking and behaving. It helps you to respond versus react and looks at ways to help you change your life permanently in ways that empower you in every niche of life.

Spangler pleads not guilty in $48M fraud case
Seattle financial adviser Mark Spangler has pleaded not guilty to federal criminal charges accusing him of defrauding investors of nearly $48 million by secretly diverting their money to startup companies he co-founded. Spangler, the former head of the National Association of Personal Finance Advisors, founded an investment advisory company called The Spangler Group that he ran from his home in Seattle. Expect more debate between A320neo and 737 Max as Boeing tries to catch up to Airbus in orders
Expect to see a brass-knuckle battle for orders in coming months as Boeing and Airbus vie for market share in the all-important narrow body jet market. Here in Boeing country, people may take comfort in Boeing claims that the 737 Max will be more fuel efficient than the competing Airbus A320neo. But the bottom line is aircraft sold, and at this moment, Boeing is still playing catch-up. Judge: Mastro creditor Hazelrigg must redo bankruptcy papers
U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Timothy Dore ruled against Bellevue businessman Tom Hazelrigg III Friday morning, saying Hazelrigg could not refuse to answer questions about his finances in his involuntary bankruptcy by making a blanket assertion of his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.
