Increase Your Sales With An Incredible Offer

What are you selling?
Coaching? Consulting? Professional services? A product? Information?
To start with, you need to sell your product or service in terms of benefits to your clients and not features.
Clients want to know what your product or service will do for them, not necessarily all the credentials you have or the process you use.
But once you've got a great list of customer-focused benefits to use as copy points in your marketing messages, what else can you do to increase the odds your prospects will buy?
You can make an incredible offer.
What's an incredible offer? It's a way of packaging your products or services so your prospects simply can't resist. You want their reaction to be, "This is such a great deal, I'd be a fool to NOT buy!"
So how do you construct an incredible offer?
You start with your primary product or service, and then you add value, in terms of bonuses, to make it more attractive. The idea is to build up the value with products or services that cost you very little, but add great value to your customer.
For example, if you're a coach, instead of simply selling a few coaching sessions, sell an entire package that includes educational and support materials, email support, reminder services, recordings of all sessions for future listening and reference, and monthly check-ups for six months once they complete their coaching sessions.
These are all products or services you can easily create and provide at very low cost, and they could significantly increase the perceived value of your coaching services.
Whatever business you're in, brainstorm a list of products or services you could package with your primary product or service.

UMSL to acquire Quincy Public Radio Station
The University of Missouri?St. Louis is acquiring Quincy University?s public radio station WQUB 90.3 FM in Quincy, Ill., St. Louis Public Radio officials said today.
The sale of WQUB is expected to be completed in the next three to four months, at which point, St. Louis Public Radio, 90.7 KWMU, will handle operations and programming of the station. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Peabody Energy leases 402 million tons of coal in Wyoming

The company bid $1.11 per mineable ton for control of the South Porcupine reserve area. The bid was conducted through a sealed bid auction process.

Antitrust review ends for Viasystems? acquisition of DDi
<img src='http://assets.bizjournals.com/stlouis/news/Sindelar,DavidPromo2011*100.jpg?v=1'>Officials from Viasystems Group Inc. and DDi Corp. said today that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 relating to the previously announced acquisition of DDi by Viasystems has expired without a request for more information by the U.S. Department of Justice or the Federal Trade Commission.
The transaction still requires approval by DDi?s stockholders, and the companies expect the transaction to close by May 31.

Gateway Classic Cars to open Chicago location June 1

The company has operated a showroom in Fairmont City since 1999. It opened a location in Louisville, Ky., in August, and it will be opening a 45,000 square-foot facility Tinley Park, Ill., next month and hiring two new employees for that location this year.

Miriam Foundation establishes Cornelsen Diagnostic Center

The diagnostic center will provide free and reduced-cost assessment services for children who do not qualify for testing in the school setting and have limited resources to access private assessment services.

Barnes-Jewish to refund $725,185 to Wisconsin Physician Services

The hospital is refunding the amount of the overpayment to the Medicare contractor involved, Wisconsin Physician Services, as recommended by the HHS report.

Brown Shoe Q1 profit drops 54 percent
