Should fees or the cost of a service be published on a business’ website?
I run an interview coaching service and I was just wondering if clients or potential clients would prefer my fees to be published on my website. Is it a deterrent not to have charges published?
It is not exactly a deterrent, if the charges have a lot of options they can be frankly too cumbersome unless you provide a calculator.
For example if you have group and individual rates, rates for newcomers and for ongoing clients, rates for couples and families, short term and long term, the combinations are too complex.
And then if rates are temporary or changing soon?
Can you come up with a good layout that might give them and have them something one clicks on a rates button for?
It is not likely you would want to clutter up your main page with rates.

Sure, as long as you don’t have competition close by I think is OK.
